One last question, how do you get the small dotted line, the one at the very top if you use the border formatting on the ribbon. I can only get the coarse dotted line?
I am not quite sure which formatting you are referring too. Fortunately there is a feature in Excel called "Record Macro". What you do is start recording a macro, make the formatting changes you want, then stop recording. You can then go into the visual basic editor and it will show you the code to get the formatting you want. Hope this helps.
