is there an "Index" sheet in ThisWorkbook ?
can you debug it a bit with

The answer is yes to both questions.
Any other ideas?
have you tried to put a ThisWorkbook.Activate before the wkb_main.Sheets("Index").Select ?

Now I am receiving error Invalid procedure call or argument
for Set SourceFolder = FSO.GetFolder(Path_All_36_Still_Photos)
