combobox help

Hi i have 8 charts that are sourced from a separate sheet.

I would like to insert a combo box that will effect what is displayed on all of them at once.
The drop downs would be lookback dates for example
-2 years
-1 year
-6 mon
etc...

I figured it would be easiest to have the combobox recognize the necissary lookback date and then hide the rest of the data on the separate sheet so only the desired time period is displayed on the charts.
Rough explination i know, im sorry.

Here is as good of a sample as i can provide.
Thank you !

Re: combobox help

You could probably do this with named ranges and data validation, rather than VBA and comboboxes?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Re: combobox help

can a user switch between the named ranges without going in and manually reformating the charts every time?
Im trying to make it to where a user can look back to a variety of time periods with the click of a button.

Thanks for the reply

You could probably set the chart ranges to referenced range names instead of "fixed" ranges. Those named ranges would point top specific data in your sheet
