On Error Resume Next not working on some PC's

Results still in an error on some PC's. I've tried everything - i mean: EVERYTHING (Setting all regional settings to the same, checking the last opion in the General settings [something like break on unhandled errors] etc.). Still, I get absolutely no error (file simply doesn't open) - other PC's get an error saying that the path cannot be found :| Anyone had something like this before? googled for the last 30min and everyone solved their problem by switching the general option in Vba

I don't remember the exact circumstances, but I seem to recall something like this with a network path versus a local path. Sorry but I don't recall the specifics.
