I have a list of several data point sets (inputs) in Excel. The data point sets (inputs) are all for the same site and have the same format and structure. I want to copy data points from excel and paste on the web page in the respective input boxes on the webpage and then use the submit box to get the results. There are
18 data input points in each set t be entered on the web page before hitting the submit button.
There are 2 specific pieces of information from each resulting web page that I would like to capture in an Excel worksheet. The result page also gives option of downloading and saving the result as a pfd (by clicking on this option on the results page). Is it possible that in addition to the 2 specific pieces of information that I capture in excel from the results page, I can also download and save the pdf (using a specific name for each pdf - a different name for each name can be copied from the excel containing the inputs) in a specific folder.
I am new to VB. Does anyone have any pointers how to do this? Or perhaps a better way to accomplish this than using VB? Thanks for your help!
gurs you had posted a similar query "Scraping Data from Web Into Excel Using VBA". mudraker you had helped gurs with his query. Hoping to get guidance and help from you both on this.
Also looking forward to getting help from other members of the forum.
