Covert Checkboxes To TRUE/FALSE

A workbook I have been given has checkboxes (thousands) down four columns and they do not appear to be linked to any cell but the are hovering over the cell the user intended to demonstrate a true/false. I want to pivot this data but the cells are truly blank underneath the checkboxes.

Is there a vba way to mass assign the checkbox values to the cell it is covering? Please tell me there is! See the attached sample workbook. The names have been changed to protect the innocent.
