Multiple actions with single button click

I have a spreadsheet with a list of employee tasks with a button next to each task. Upon completion of the task I need the button click to simultainiously increase a running total in the adjacient cell and insert three items sequencially in a range of cells on a separate sheet. The three items are garrison name, task name and datestamp. I have attached a screen print of the spreadsheet. Any help would be very much appreciated. Hopefully this is not too much to ask on a forum.

    Regards,

It is certainly not too much to ask and this is the perfect place for it.

It would be much more helpful (and easier) to attach the Excel file rather than going to the trouble of taking a screen shot, building a PDF, and then attaching that. Do the buttons do anything now, or are you building this for the first time? Where do the three items get inserted?

Counts Tool.xlsm The spreadsheet is now attached. I am building this document for the first time. The buttons do nothing at this time. A running total will go beside the button. the garrison, task # and datestamp would go on the tab "Counts Accumulation Sheet". I hope that when any button is pushed the data would be placed incrementally in the range on the Counts Accumulation Sheet.

    Hopefully this explaination is clear.

Here is a solution. I have set everything up but I'm leaving it to you to create the rest of the buttons. You simply need to copy and paste (don't create new buttons from scratch) any of the buttons that I've already created. That will cause it to carry along the proper macro. You have to make sure each button is wholly contained inside a cell.

I also added an event handler so if the user selects a new Region, it blanks out the prior Garrison to force the user to enter a Garrison that matches the Region.
