Compile Error - Object Required when opening Userform on another PC

Hi

I could really do with some help! I've created a userform in Excel 2013 and it was running beautifully. I sent it to another colleague for testing on their PC on Excel 2010and I am having lots of problems

When I try to run the following bit of code I keep getting the Compile error - object required and it highlights patientrec. I'm new to VBA and really can't work out why this works on my PC but not my colleagues.

Suggest you post a sample workbook. Most likely its a MISSING reference.

Thank you TMS. The problem with my workbook is it's pretty large and there is a lot of client sensitive information on it including the field names so I'm not too sure how to post a sample without compromising this?

I have meanwhile googled the missing reference and discovered some instructions on changing this. When I went to tools > references, there was a MISSING reference: Microsoft windows common controls - 2 6.0 (SPS). I have unchecked this as suggested in the instructions and the form appears to continue to run. I am still really worried though as I don't really understand what I have done by unchecking this box and if it is a) likely to create any problems now I have unticked the box/ stop part of the form from working or b) resolve the problem for all users if I save it like this and send the new version out?

Essentially, I have created the form/ questionnaire for a client who will be emailing it out to several users so they can input records and then return the data to the client. I have spent hours on it and I really thought I was there but I am now very nervous about it being distributed.

Any advice would be really appreciated -totally out of my depth now

I created a new thread for this because I thought I had solved the initial problem and my question now differs from the original thread question. Apparently that is not the correct thing to do so I am using this one again. Apologies, new to this
