Macro to remove personal data

Hello! I'm having difficulties cleaning up some data and could use some macro help. I have a entire column with various/random messages and data, but I want to remove email address from the information.

For example: This column has too much crap to read and to sort through please help me. contact me at toomuch@crap.com as soon as possible. Thanks for your help.

Any ideas? Even if it is something like replacing 3-5 characters before and after the @ symbol with a blank or * that would work.

How about find and replace "@* " sans quotes with space?

Thanks shg, good to be here. I like the way you think! Unfortunately it just removed "@" and inserted a space without removing the identifiable information. I tried with a "@*" find and replace and it deleted all the text after the @. Thank you for your input!
