I'm trying to create a spreadsheet to calculate my grades - but I'm having trouble with what to do when there are lots of zeros. For example if Assignments are worth 10% of the final grade and I have completed 1 so far - and it's the only thing I've completed in the term, with a mark of 805 - my current running-total grade should be 100% of my mark.
For the teachers out there, how do you change your weighting on the fly when some entire sections haven't been completed yet (projects, final exam, etc). I just want to enter my marks in as I go and have an idea of where I am throughout the course.
