    Common Functions

    Hi All:

I have a bunch of common subroutines that I call from any of my VBA macros.

When I develop an addin for a client, do I need to actually send him 2 addins, one containing the custom stuff for him and one containing my common subroutines?

Or is there a way to somehow 'compile' the common subroutines into the addin?

    Thanks,

    Yossi

    Re: Common Functions

    Hi Yossi,

There is an article by Ron de Bruin refer to the link:

    http://www.rondebruin.nl/win/addins/rdbmerge.htm

You need to save the add-in containing all your subroutines & the custom stuff (Data sheet).
Client needs to install add-in in their system & will be able to run the macro.

    Re: Common Functions

    I don't follow.

I am developing a number of add ins for a number for different clients. All the add ins use common routines that I have developed. I still do not understand where I can place those common routines so that when I move the XLAM file to a client, it goes with the latest version of the common subroutines.

    Thanks,

    Yossi
