Running Macros from a second open workbook without selecting it

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any idea how I can go through the following scenario.

I currently have 2 Excel workbooks open: A personal workbook and a browse Macro. The data in my Personal Macro is simply linked to the data that my Browse macro pulls in itself from a third party system. I wanted to know if there is anyway for me to run the macro from the Browse Workbook without having to switch to my Browse Macro.

Everytime I try to run the macro from my Personal Workbook I get an error message. However, when my Browse Macro is open it works perfectly.

I think it might be important to note that I have no access to modify anything from the Browse Macro as is it a locked company macro.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,

How are you trying to run the code in the Browse workbook from the Personal workbook?

    Hi,

I just go to the macro list through Alt+F8, select the "Browse" Macro from the Browse Workbook.
I was hoping there could be a way for me to run it without having to switch to Browse workbook and run it from there.
