Lightbulb Deleting rows but no changes in serial numbers of Data sheet

    Hi Everybody,
I have a question of deleting rows without changing serial numbers in the A column.
I need this because I am an office staff and have to handle with staff information. Although I have entered one staff information, he/she may resign from our office. So, I need to delete that row. It is simple. But each and every staff in sheet 1 have link to the following sheets. Then it causes two issues.
One, If I deleted staff number 10 row in sheet 1, the staff in another sheets will not be removed automatically. Two, If I deleted that row, there will be a gap between number 9 and 11 rows, cos number 10 is out.
I want the numbers automatically counted in sheet 1 and that changes in sheet 1 will effect to another sheets.

    Can anybody help me.

    Htut

    Hi
Use formula in column A, input "=row()" or "=row()-1"

Thanks 'Simcode', Appreciate your answer. It works. And I understand as you explained above
One more question; deletion/insertion of rows in sheet 1 will make deletion/insertion of the same rows in other sheets.
Moreover, if it is of deletion one row, the serial number in column A will count automatically. But If it is insertion one row in Sheet 1, then how to automatically count serial number for new row continuously and this change effect to other sheets.

    Hi, Tet Htut Najing,
If you select one sheet, one sheet will be edited. If you select a group of sheets, the group sheets will be edited at the same address. You can drag fomula after insert of new rows or columns.

    Thanks, simcode
I have already tried that technique. It works. But, I just want to narrow down the steps to get things done. That's why I search a way that enable doing those in one step.
Whatever, I really thanks for your suggestion and response.
    Thanks again,
    Htut
