Capture Paste action and strip all formatting.

I have a protected sheet with a range where users can edit. When uses copy+paste from another field/sheet/workbook with say a green background and a different font, it changes the font.

I am using a conditional formatting rule with the formula: =True to apply the conditional formating automatically.

It works but I figure it's probably not the most resource friendly way of handling this.

Is there a better way to keep the range clear of all pasted formats?

You could have a Worksheet Change event handler that strips out the formatting or, put another way, set your standard formatting.
