Dear all,
I would like to create a macro that would call for a MsgBox / pop up menu, where I could browse an external excel file and then copy this external filename and path to cell A1 of the active file.
Any hint?
Thanks a lot for your help.

Maybe:
Hint. =CELL("filename", ......
Ok probably I didn't make myself clear. I have this file that is going to be used by several persons that are not quite familiar to excel and formulas. The idea is when a cell A1 is chosen a pop up menu appears with the objective of browsing an external file that is going to be used as the source file where information is to be read.
Is this possible?
Is it possible to do this? I'd very much like to have and expert opinion.
regards,
Manuel
