Which: Excel 32-bit or 64-bit?

I hope you can help me.

I am going over to Office 365, and for the first time, in a real sense, was confronted with 32-bit and 64-bit versions as not doing the exact same thing.

Obviously i run a 64-bit OS, but it would seem with Excel and Access, many would suggest 32-bit as the preferred choice. I did some research, and it would seem both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions have their pros and cons.

But it begs the question: which is best to use if you develop Excel Apps (UserForms etc.) and Access Apps? Obviously my main concern would be compatibility.
