find count of year from DateTime column

Hello,

I need help in finding count of records from date time column matching with year.
please find attached sample workbook.

In B2 Cell


=COUNTIFS($F$1:$F$9,">="&DATE(A2,1,1),$F$1:$F$9,"<="&DATE(A2,12,31))

Out of curiosity I am asking one question:
What if Cell A1 to A3 is date time?

I know I have marked it as resolved. but this fails for column with Date Time value
