Externally linked Workbooks Nightmares...

So...I'll be brief with my story & question...

I made a Macro-Enabled workbook and with-in that there are two different cells in which I change the dates of. (As-of Date and a Previous Day kind of deal)

The workbook updates 2 tables (1 Table = As-of the other table represents Previous Day)

There is also a Macro in the Work book that will create a new workbook and copy the results from the main Macro-enabled workbook.

The issue is all my results have been wrong because it's linking the original dates from the main workbook as the source and I've been updating wrong / errouneous information.

How can I best avoid this?

I am assuming that in the data you are copying, there are formulas pointing back to the original workbook. Instead of just copying, do a Copy, and the PasteSpecial(xlPasteValues).
