Deleting and replacing characters in a cell

Hello there, I need some help with a macro!

In a cell, I have, for instance: TTCAAGGACACACACTCCAGTGG.
I need a macro for two things and I need it for all the cells in a row:

1) deleting the last three characters, making it: TTCAAGGACACACACTCCAG
2) replace the first eight characters for N, making it: NNNNNNNNCACACACTCCAG

Anyone, please?
