Automatically move cell data

Hello,

I'm working on making a machine maintenance log (I do not have MA at work or I'd use that). I'd like to be able to keep track of all dates that work has been done on specific tasks. Currently I have just a list of everything that needs to be done, how often it needs to be done, and the last date that it was. Is there a simple way to make it so I can enter a new date maintenance was last done, but still keep the old dates for looking up history? It wouldn't matter if the old dates were moved to a new tab...
