    Transposing Macro

    Hi all,
I have a spreadsheets that has a product ID with 8 (Columns) prices on a single row.
I need to transpose this spreadsheet into a spreadsheet that has 8 Rows for each product ID.

There are around 4500 rows that need to be converted. I can do manually but you can imagine how long that would take. Please help.

    Old Sheet
    Capture Price 1.PNG

    New Sheet
    Capture 2.PNG

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

I may be my computer but I am not able to see your pictures. A sample workbook with a before and after example would be more useful.

    Slightly neater version:

Could probably be done quicker with arrays but I'll leave that to someone else.

    Re: Transposing Macro

    You're welcome.

stnkynts has provided a link which has lots of information. However, I tend to find that it is quite difficult to learn something "for the sake of it".

ideally, you need to set yourself a challenge, perhaps to address a business problem or improvement, and then research how best to address it, either with formulae or VBA coding. If you want to learn VBA, one of the best ways is to record a macro whilst you undertake a task. Then look at the macro to see how it works, and how it can be improved.

One of the reasons I answer questions on the forum is NOT because I know everything ... I wish ... but to address challenges and learn from them, and from the solutions that others offer.
