Need help in code sumif

Hello
is there is a way to write a code to do something like (sumif (a:a , (start with ) , c:c) something like that
i want to sum if the cells starts with word like (anything)

Thanks guys, but i didn't mean anything like its what i'm looking for ...here is the thing i want code to sum a:a if cells value starts with "me" like if the the cell got value of "me and you" it will sum it because it got "me" at the start of the value ..that's what i meant and thanks again
