Why are my buttons changing names by themselves???

I have a workbook that I am working on that has three sheets. On my main sheet I have two buttons. They have been working fine until I opened the file up on another computer and then opened it again on my computer. When I open it on my computer, the buttons names get changed to CommandButton3... etc.

I tried to rename the button back to its original name, and it says "ambiguous name detected".
Even when I call the macro under the new button name, nothing happens.

And I even tried to run the macro without the button and the code breaks, but everything works fine on the other computer.

I have never came across this and I do not know what to do. I would really appreciate the help.

Did the extension get changed from the other computer back to your own? I suspect that the code got saved as a pre 2007 version and so the macros and the ActiveX controls won't work

All the computers are working off the same server, and each computer is running excel 2013. I did try to do it on a third computer and I notice it did the same thing as the first computer. When I open and saved the file, the file will no longer work when I open it on my computer. But between the two other computers, the file still works. Could this be a security settings or another type of setting on my computer that is breaking the file?

Just a thought but have all the PCs been updated with the early December Windows Update from Microsoft or just some of them?
