Gurus,

I am currently working on a project which needs to utilise several linked Excel files to pull in it's data. The data is located on a shared network drive \\server\groups\operations\zzz\zzz\Data.xlsx and is successfully linked as part of a Vlookup to bring in the data.

The problem I am having is updating these links when I open the file each time. I get the usual "Excel did not update links... Continue or Edit Links" message come up, but when I click Continue, Excel then proceeds to display a File Dialog box and asks me to find the file that is linked. Whilst this would not normally be an issue as if it was just me using this file, I would simply navigate to the file and re-select it to update the link.

However, the main file which contains the links will be located on several local machines on a company network and the linked files on a shared volume which the store will have "access" to, but won't be able to navigate to it in My Computer to re-select the files.

Can anyone solve this problem as I simply need it to update without having to reaffirm the network location of each linked file?
