Hi guys,
I have a problem with my file. I am just trying to create a model with a set of 50 indentical sheets. These sheets consist of about 500 rows and 20 columns containing complex formulas. So inspite of keeping 50 pages together (because if you keep 50 pages together excel file gets slower and slower) I have used a macro to create the same kind of sheet if required.
Lets say;
I have 2 projects for year 2014 but I am planning to get 4 more in 2015 and 5 more in 2016. So, in this case I have to create a total of (2+4+5) 11 sheets. And these (each sheet) sheets have financial figures for each year. But as you may guess I need this figures in a consolidated sheet.
So, please find the attached file which is an simple example of my case. In this file you will see a consolidation sheet and project sheets from 1 to 11. Could you please provide me a formula that covers my requests? Also please note that in this file you will not see the rest of the projects (as I mentioned I am trying to cover up to 50 projects) but in consolidation sheet you will see related rows. Assume that you are planning to get 7 more projects for year 2017 you need to create 7 more project sheets (P12-P13-P14-P15-P16-P17-P18) and also consolidated relevant figures to the consolidation sheet.
Best regards.
PS: Sorry I couldn't upload the example via forum but if it is permitted in the forum you may find the link to file here;
