Mouse Hover over a shape or picture and will display a text message

I am needing some assistance in achieving the following

I have a few shapes & pictures on the "main page" which have macros assigned to them. I would like to display a message when hovering over the object with my mouse- Display only for a few seconds then hide

It is similar to your request. It changes color when the mouse is over the shape. You should be able to adapt the code to do what you want.

If you need additional help, please upload a sample workbook containing a couple of shapes, including a sample of what you want the message to look like when hovering.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Create Hyperlink to shape, then add "ToolTipText" to this!!

Great suggestion. I forgot about that technique. There is a possible side effect, that the Hyperlink may override any OnAction Macro assigned to the Shape. There is a workaround for that problem.
