VBA Code to select column based on a date then perform copy/paste and shade

Hi All,

I posted something the other day regarding this but i couldnt get it to work but i dont think i gave enough info, so here is a second pass...

The attached sheet is a simplified version of my spreadhseet but the principle is exactly the same.

I want to be able to enter a date in cell C8 on sheet A.
Then when i press the run button the macro:
* goes to sheet 1, selects the whole column with the date that was in C8 on sheet A
* copys and pastes this data (the values)
* greys the whole column.
* goes to sheet 2 and does the same as above
* goes to sheet 3 and does the same
* goes to sheet 4 and does the same
* goes to sheet 5 and does the same

any help/tips or thoughts on this would be massively appreciated.
