    Formatting Dates

    Hello Everyone,

I have a user form that we enter the dates into manually in several text boxes. I am looking for the code that will pop up a message box when the date is being entered that states: "Please use MM/DD/YYYY format" and then error out to "Incorrect Date Format" if they try to enter any date that doesn't match the formatting:

    EXAMPLE

    |--------------| |------------------------------|
    | mm/dd/yyyy | | Please enter date in the |
    |--------------| |following format DD/MM/YY |
    | |------------------------------|

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thank You,

    Marie A.

    Re: Formatting Dates

    Hi Marie

I have some code that is almost fool proof for entering dates.

    Try that first.

I find message boxes to be a pain.

my format is ddmmyyyy but that is easily changed.

    I would appreciate you opinion
