Exclamation Select and move row from one sheet to another

Hello all, I've seen this done. How can I select a row(s) in QuoteLog and then use a button or an "X" or some designation to then cut the row and move to Archive. See attached.

I want it to be as easy as possible. So it can have a Button or just put an X in Column A or Highlight whatever.

HELP PLEASE. Thank you in advance

    Jill

You could use a double click or a right click

    Which do you prefer?

    Modified

    1. You used Option explicit
    2. Will not copy rows with 2 or more empty cells
    3. Rightclick menu disabled

Did you complete the file? I downloaded the file called Quote-Log4 but doesn't seem to do anything

Okay got the file - I see it is working. Where can I change it to double click instead of right click. Thank you for the quick reply

    Did you read my amendment?

It will not work on an empty row

Nor will it work on rows 1 or 2

This version works with a double click.

Right click on the sheet name at the bottom of excel to view the code

Sorry, your code works great but my user wants to put an X in Column A to move the items. Right click and double click confuses them.. I know.. just saying. How to modify?

    LMAO.

    Not a problem

    That is a change event,

you have an existing change event so we insert a line in that to start our new macro.

You could have all three options enabled you know.

Exclamation Re: Select and move row from one sheet to another

Thank you for this. I'm sorry but I wasn't clear. See attached. They want to select the rows then hit a button to move them to Archive tab. Whatever suggestion you have to accomplish this is great. I figured put an X in Column A then execute using the button.

    Does that make sense?

    Hi jcmckeon!

Click on a yellow cell in column A, and the * button down here, if you like the solution.
