    Cool DropDown List if Matching

    Dear All,

I don't know how to explain my issue because as I mentioned earlier in my first post that I'm new to excel world and I loved it because of ExcelForum.com.

Anyway me problem is that I have table contains (Countries, Weights , Rates ) and I made dropdown list for the (Countries, Weights) and I would like to have the rate as an Output based on the (Countries , Weight ).

    for Example :

    Weight Bahrain KSA ETC,,,,
    0-75 18
    76-250 0.24
    251-500 0.24
    501-1000 0.24
    1001-2000 0.24
    2001-3000 0.22
    3001-Over 0.22

If I selected from the Weight Range from the dropdown list I need the Output Rate direct to come out.

I uploaded My example for more clarification and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Re: DropDown List if Matching

Hi, try this formula in cell C2 of Sheet1:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    =INDEX(Sheet2!$B$2:$H$8,MATCH(B2,Sheet2!$A$2:$A$8,0),MATCH(A2,Sheet2!$B$1:$H$1,0))

Apologies, my fault. I said B2 when I meant C2.

Attached is your file with the formula included.

    Happy I could help

Have a look at the link below. It will explain INDEX/MATCH far better than I can.
