Text to date

I am using the attached file named "customer" to import data as seen in the attached file "data-example" by a manual copy and vba paste from the macro "update" I have it working well apart from the dates, I have used date purge to set the date etc., correctly but when I get as far as formatting the date as a date field nothing is working, I have tried using the date12 macro in the file but it takes approx 40 mins to run is there a way that anyone can change around the code to format all date cells with new data maybe during the import stage into page dummy? I have attached both files so you can do a "dry" run on the code. All you have to do is run "Update" and copy the X47 sheet and click Ok and then do the same for the X08 sheet. Any help would be most appreciated as I have hit a brick wall with this one.
