Re: Getting compile error expected function or variable

    Hello davesexcel,
Thank you for your response to solve the problem. Now I have solved the problem of ‘expected function or variable’. It’s working fine but still I have two problems to solve as stated in my first post.

Condition require for cell b4 as follows:
If receipt cell b4 = receipt number then exit sub. If I scroll the cursor on b4 then there should not be any action, no change in receipt number till I enter a next register number in cell g7.

Remove limit of maximum 5 lc. It should be unlimited. No any other change is require.

I have attached a corrected workbook for your perusal.

After this amendment the problem will be solved.

    Thank you,

I'm not sure, your code is hard to follow.

    Hi,
Thank you. I solved the max lc problem. Now I have only a problem of annoying running of macro for which I posted a thread today morning but still not received a solution.

I request you to look into this matter and suggest me a solution.
