Calendar Picker in Custom UI Ribbon

Hi to all

I was wondering if somebody would be able to help me with code to incorporate calendar in ribbon. My ribbon is custom made from scratch and my goal is to embed calendar in ribbon and selecting the date certain cell in the sheet will get same value...and this cell is only cell formatted as date.
