I need to create a macro that will divide one file into many individual files. It has multiple rows of data for each state, and I need to it to cut an individual file when the states change (they are in alphabetical order). I also have certain data in hidden rows near the top of the sheet that needs to be in each file. Can anyone help?
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Hopefully this attachment works. The example has a very basic info that I need. In addition to cutting out the specific states, I need to be able to keep a few hidden rows at the top that are used in formulas throughout the sheet. I also need to password protect it. Thanks!
