Command Button Stops Working After First Use

Hello folks

I recently started dabbling with Command Buttons, and I'm having a problem. Everything used to work perfectly, so I don't know what changed. I use Excel 2013

I have 2 Command Buttons on this sheet. One of them works perfectly, and the second will only work once. Once I tell button 2 to do it's thing, the button then becomes unresponsive until I enter design mode and move the button. After moving the button, it will work once more, and then stop working again. The distance of the move doesn't appear to matter.

Here is the macro assigned to the problematic button. Would someone please tell me what's going on?

I am assuming that you can run this macro several times consecutively successfully from within the debugger.

When I have problems like yours, the following sometimes corrects the problem:
a. Make a backup copy of the file.
b. Make a copy of the worksheet in the same workbook.
c. Delete the original worksheet.
d. Rename the the copied worksheet back to the Original name.
e. Save the workbook and try again.

I agree with the first response in assuming that there is corruption. What he suggested looks like a lot but it really is very quick.

Another idea is to rebuild the button.

This is an almost insulting suggestion because it's so remedial, but what you're describing really does point to doing a reboot and trying again. Since clicking is an event that goes through the operating system, and it's malfunctioning, try restarting the OS.

Sorry that no direct or magic answer comes to mind. What you describe is indeed bizarre.
