Really? i want the function to sum, up to 5 cells, if they are over 89%. Any suggestions?
You'd have to pass a range to the function, not separate cells or values.

Not really sure what you are trying to do. Are the cells in a column in a contiguous range? Or in a row in contiguous cells? Or random cells?
I suggest that you post a sample workbook with some examples and expected outcomes.
