how to use datedif

Hi guys,
on this scenario im trying to learn the functionality of datedif on how I can implement this. Right now im trying to make a computation regarding time allowance of inmates. by the way time allowance is something that can be use be used to deduct the lenght of stay of inmates. So here's the format:

samples:
Start date Saturday, June 01, 2013
Penalty: 20 years 1 months 3 days
Expected release date Wednesday, July 04, 2033

Actual Time served 5 Years 2 months 1 days
Time allowance 6 years 8 months 0 days
Release date with time allowance: ?
Remaining days of stay in jail: ?

Changed your Edate formula to Date formula

In B6 Cell

=B4+DATE(B5,0,0)


In B12 Cell


=B6-DATE(B11,D11,F11)
