Paste special values and keep background colors

I am looking for the VBA code to copy and paste the values and the fill color of a range. I do not want the format (conditional) only the values and color. Any help would be appreciated.

In my haste, I did not state upfront that the fill colors were created by conditional formating. Therefore, when applying your code the paste seems to retain the color until I delete the conditions upon which the color seems to be deleted also. (See attached sample)

Initially the code copies all the formatting including the CF colours but later delete only the CF colours but retains other colour as you can see on the attached.
