hi all,

I've tried to import XML file into a workbook i'm currently working on but it somehow changes the whole format of the XML file (i believe this has something to do with schema??). There wont be changes only if i go to FILE>OPEN> (and then choose the XML file), and then it will open in a new excel window. However, i need the XML file to be opened in the same workbook instead of opening in a new window.

Is there a macro that can allow me to open/import the XML files keeping the formats into the same workbook i'm working on, and then from there copy data from the XML file to my destination cells in other sheets on my working workbook?

someone please help, i'm stuck at this for 2 hours already! *DESPERATE
