compile error cannot find project or library , Date Format

I just switched to a new PC last week with the latest Office installed.
I am getting an error where 'Format' is not recognized.

The error is "compile error cannot find project or library".

I have never heard of such a widely used thing as this not in the typical reference library. Has something changed? And what do I need to check of to get VB to recognize this function?

here is the code that is getting the error. 'Format' is what is being pinged.

Hi JapanDave,

I'd say it's to do with one or more of the references no longer working due to their original location (path) now being changed with the upgrade.

Untick any references start with MISSING and then deselect and reselect all the other references to ensure their path is updated to the latest path i.e. Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.0 is quite an old reference that even though isn't throwing out an error may be an issue.

Thanks Robert. I figured it out, it had something to do with the fact that I forgot to install Microsoft access and VB was treating 'Format' as something else.
