Iterative addition problem

Hey all,

So I'm new here. Experimented a little with VBA in the past, but not a lot. Brass tax: I'm trying to create a function/formula/vba module that will allow column D to be added to column E. Then column D will clear so that I can add new amounts to a different row of D without repeating the already in place iteration. Any thoughts?

I attached the file as is with no failed attempts at VBA programming.

So if I enter 5 in D10 and 2 in D11, you want E10 and E11 to show 5 and 2 respectively and then immediately blank out D10 and D11?

I can then enter 3 in D11 and it will update E11 to 5, again blanking D11 out.

Is that right?

Yes, that is precisely what I'm looking for.

Can excel even do this?
