Dear All,
I have excel files which have multiple sheets as follow :-
Sheet 1 : List
contains - A8 = Sheet Name ; B8 = ServerName ; C8 = Folder ; D8 = subFolder1 ; E8 = subFolder2 ; F8 = FileName
Sheet 2 : GEN
contains - A8 = Doc. Number ; B8 = HYPERLINK
Example : A8 = 1001 ; B8 = YES ( \\ServerName\Folder\subfolder1\subfolder2\FileName"1001".pdf )
Sheet 3 : OUT
contains - A8 = Doc. Number ; B8 = HYPERLINK
Example : A8 = 2001 ; B8 = YES ( \\ServerName\Folder\subfolder1\subfolder2\FileName"2001".pdf )
In the Gen sheet has table where cell "B8" contains the "HYPERLINK" text with file extension PDF after data at cell "A8" been input.
Example :
Sheet GEN : Cell "A8" input - 1001 ; then cell "B8" automatically creating the "HYPERLINK" which referred to sheet "LIST" path with "A8".pdf extension.
Same goes to Sheet "OUT". The "HYPERLINK" will referred to path at sheet "LIST".
Whenever i change the path location, the HYPERLINK will follow. So i don't have much problem if i need to change the file location later on or renaming the sheet name.
If i create new sheet , the "HYPERLINK" file path will follow based on Sheet Name on the sheet "LIST" that i entered the fill.
I attached with excel file sample for clear pictures what i'm talking about.
