Excel Code Not Working As expected

Hi

I have a small problem with the code attached to the spreadsheet. It will not display the dataform

Sub DataEntryForm()
    Range("A9").Select
    ActiveSheet.ShowDataForm
End Sub

I get a error message "Run time 1004"

I would like to start at Range(“A9”)

I have searched google for a solution. Found a couple but could not get them to work.
