My wife is an elementary school teacher. At her school the kids have something they call exploratories on Friday afternoons. The exploratories change every month. At the start of the month the kids each rank their top five choices and then they are randomly assigned to groups giving weight as much as possible to their choices (not everyone necessarily could get their first choice so my system randomly chooses who, in a given month, gets to have their first choice, etc.).

Things have gone swimmingly. The system allows the teachers to quickly enter the data from their classroom, email that to the admins, the admins have a tool I wrote that imports the data from all the teachers, performs the randomization and assignment and then emails the lists back out to the teachers. It used to take the admins four or five hours to complete this process. With my tool it takes the admins less than 10 minutes.

I'm now working on version 2 of the tool. I'd like to create a userform that displays a list of the kids assigned to a particular exploratory or the assignments of the kids from a particular classroom. Is there an easy way to do that?
