I am a novice at vba macro-ing and really need some help.
I have about 18,000 people to email individually!
What I'd like to do, is select a cell (e.g. A1) which has their name on (e.g. John Williams), and then push the macro - which will then copy this name into outlooks 'To:' field - as then they system looks in the address book to match their name with their e-mail address.
The e-mail will also attach a seperate excel document, which is a questionnaire I need them to fill in, and will be located on my desktop.
And then have the Subject as: 'Please notify relevant parties'
And then have a body of text:
"Dear , (John Williams)
As part of the project, we are implementing a new system.
According to our records you currently have access to the old one only. Please could you provide info on:
- Current Login Details
- IP Address
- Cost Centre
We would be grateful if you could provide this information by completing each of the 3 tabs on the attached spread sheet. Then return it to us by reply to this email before <insert date>.
As the project progresses we will start to share more information with you about the changes ahead, in the meantime if you have any questions or queries please contact the project team at <insert email address>
