we are currently using excel as our forecasting and scheduling system (I am encouraging the powers that be to invest in something more suitable but this will take time) and the version we're currently using needs a lot more work to save my sanity (currently takes anything up to a day to create a rota for a week)
I have a couple of questions before I submit a request to the commercial services section, one about the process and another about "is it possible?"
1. I understand that after credit has expired it will auto be renewed, can this be prevented if the request has been completed?
2. Looking at the attached workbook are the following "requirements" possible in excel?
AUTOMATION OF AGENT PLACEMENT
RDO, Holiday and some shifts to be manually entered first, automation routine to identify if a day has any of these already entered and move on, if not enter appropriate shift.
Agents in GROUP 01 best placed to meet call demand from CALL TYPE 01, with either 30 or 60 min lunch.
One agent from GROUP 01 to be scheduled to work a Saturday and Sunday does not have to be same agent, preferably on a rota system
Max Hours not to be exceeded by automation
Agents from group 02 fill any gaps in call type 01 and meet call demand from call type 02
Agents from group 03 fill any gaps in call type 01 and meet call demand from call type 02
Agents from group 4 meet call demand from call type 02
agents from group 02, 03, 04 to work weekends, ideally only 1 day but can work both ot have both off
Shift patterns
5 x 8 hours with 30 or 60 min lunch
4 x 10 with 30 or 60 minutes
Team Leaders and Senior Agents - must be at least 1 of either at every point of the day
Team leaders preferably working Mon-Fri 0830-1700 30 min lunch but can work outside of this if senior agents unavailable.
Preferably allocate two consecutive days of for 5x8 workers.
WOULD BE NICE:
Code optimization
pop-up box with 30 second swarning before idle procedure fires the shutdown code.
Sickness and Holidays to be automatically entered into Trending sheet.
Identify if an agent has an end date and ensure no shift entered after this date.
NOTES
Call Type 01 is signified as X-R in rota
Call Type 02 is signified as X-CA in rota
I understand that's a lot of work (completely beyond my abilities for the most part) which is why i'm looking at the commercial services area, I just don't want to waste the time of the forum member's and myself if its not possible.
