I am looking for a posibility to give a warning to users, in for instance a MSGbox (or somthing else) to close the 98 active workbooks.
is somthing like that possible in Excel ?
And if yes, How?![]()

Sure - or you could give a warning or do it automatically: VBA can do almost anything. What is the situation when you want to give the warning, and what end result do you want?

I have 98 (loose) sheets in a folder.
One central sheet.
The 98 sheets have to give a warning when open or when opened that they wil close because they are in maintenance.
preferably from the central sheet.
