How to Store Cell Value Before Checkbox is OFF

    Hi

I have a checkbox that controls the value and behavior of cell D10.

I want to save the cell value to a variable everytime while checkbox is ON and before the checkbox is checked off which then the cell will be locked for edit and cell value becomes a relative large number. And when the checkbox is checked on again, it will bring back the saved value to the cell.

How can I do that? I have got everything else done thanks to a fellow forum contributor.

I'm not sure what you're wanting to do. Your second paragraph is very confusing.

Thank you for the quick reply! It didn't seem to work. When I clicked the checkbox back on, D10 was a blank cell. See attached please. Thank you!

Sorry for being confusing. What I meant was, say it starts off with checkbox on and D10 being "100" or some value. Turning checkbox OFF would locked up the cell and replace D10 with a pre-defined large value. Turning checkbox ON again would unlock the cell and bring back the previously stored value. So the user can edit D10 whenever checkbox is ON and the value will be stored every time BEFORE checkbox is turned OFF. The following image should help.
