I manage the support emails that come into my inbox on a regular basis. Is there a way to automatically send a response email based on a specific email received in my Gmail inbox? Currently, I respond to the same email which is sent to our support email when clicked by a user on our website. I put a user case below for a better explanation.
1. I receive an email into my Gmail's inbox for a password reset. Email comes from our support email.
2. I pull the email address that is embeded in the text of the email
3. I search our accounts via our website for the Admin's email (or an excel document with emails listed)
2. I copy and paste a generic response for how they can go about resetting their password (locally administered accounts are used so we can't just have emails automatically sent to them).
If this is possible how would I go about implementing this? Does anyone have a link that would help?
Also, if this is possible, is their a way to send a generic email response but the names in each email change based on information in an excel document?
