Creating a Summary Document that gets information from a DB using data valdation&offsets

Something was wrong with the attachment in the last post

I have created a document that gets raw data from an excel database depending on your choice in a data validation list. In the list you decide which type of model you want and then the cost specification is shown in the document. I want to try and create a macro that summarizes all different models sub groups(cat. S) cost and labor hours into new document in a formated tabel. I don't really know where to start as my knowledge in VBA i limited to creating simpler macros. I would appreciate a lot any help I can get. I have attached a document that is similar to the document that I want information copied from. excelforum ex.xlsx

I think that youre best of tackling this yourself or breaking it up in to pieces in separate posts of what you want to do. It looks like youre trying to get someone to do it for you
